Protect the Skin You're In
There is an organ that we wear on the outside and it is the larges organ of the body. Can you guess what it is? Yes! It's your skin and the primary function is to provide protection from all types of foreign matter.
The skin is the bodies first shield of defense
With that knowledge, may I ask, how are you caring for your shield? Have you given any thought to the effects of the everyday lotions and potions you apply to your shield?
Let's talk about it.
Whatever is applied to the skin is absorbed into the bloodstream
Consider this, if it's in the bloodstream it will be filtered through your heart! Yikes!!! Sounds like trouble.
Thankfully, the body also has an internal defense system, most commonly known as the immune system.
Once again, the body to the rescue, but please know that even the immune system can be overly taxed and even weakened over time especially when it's abused.
From the day we came into this world until now, substances have been applied to our skin and we have been exposed to a plethora of chemicals (eg. cleaning spays and powders). So how can we help this precious skin that we're in? I'm glad you asked :)

Nature is an external protection system for our bodies
We are not without help, a way of escape has been provided for us!
Plants, the ground and the seas provide countless healing properties. We were created in this world and it is in this world that we find a wide range of substances for aid in healing our bodies. https://joettecalabrese.com/
